Job Description:
The Financial Planning and Analysis and Finance departments are responsible for data quality and reporting within RVH. These teams play a key role in strategic performance evaluation, quality improvement, financial planning and reporting and overall operational effectiveness.
Both financial and clinical data analysis are essential in providing the organization with necessary information to make effective decisions. As a Coordinator, you will provide ongoing support for shared documentation, data submissions and work with the Leaders to integrate information across the teams. You will collaborate closely with FP&A staff to synchronize information across teams and offer ongoing budgetary support. In addition to updating documentation, the coordinator will compile the quarterly board of directors’ scorecard and ensure its accuracy before SLT review.
The MIS data portion of the position requires a self-motivated individual with basic core MIS knowledge and a demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous education. The Coordinator provides support with confirmation of data accuracy for clinical and non-clinical areas within the monthly reporting of MIS data and for case costing. This individual will work closely with the teams to ensure the statistical MIS data is accurately captured and kept current.
- Completion of a University degree / College program or equivalent specific Hospital program experience
- 2 years’ experience
- Coordination and support for internal and external reporting
- Review of current documentation and new documentation as required to support workflow
- Meditech Expanse
- Microsoft Office Suite
- A good working knowledge of MOHLTC MIS Reporting
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge with Excel
- Understands corporate governance
- Ad-hoc duties assigned
