**About the Role**:

At Gerdau, we leverage the SAP-Ariba platform to streamline invoice processing, allowing you to focus on building vendor relationships and investigating discrepancies. **Main Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Plant Controller, your daily routines will be to proactively resolve obstacles to achieve on-time payment and discount capture goals/targets. As a result you will oversee a high volume of transactions. Processing includes the entry of Accounts Payable transactions including 3-way match, the intake and sorting of incoming correspondence from vendors as well as identifying exceptions to the standard processes according to the Procure to Pay policies.

Responsibilities include:

- Receive, review and prepare multi-currency invoices
- Accurate and timely Accounts Payable entries into an integrated ERP system
- Ensure proper tax codes are applied to invoices
- Properly identify, log and forward exceptions for error resolution
- Communicate with vendors and internal personnel to resolve issues
- Assure compliance with all company and legal / regulatory requirements
- Run and maintain standard reports associated with A/P activities
- Review and communicate about root causes of exceptions to buyers
- Other projects as assigned
