Owasco is a family-owned and operated dealership group since 1972 located in Durham Region. We are looking to hire an accounting clerk. This position will involve providing support (i.e payables and receivables) and general accounting duties as assigned. This position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Uploading and importing invoices into our payables system
- Verifying invoices are correct and cutting cheques for vendors
- Ensuring paperwork is submitted correctly and accurately
- Assisting with month end procedures
- Checking scheduled accounts and making corrections as needed

Qualifications:

- Post-Secondary degree/diploma preferred
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Positive attitude and self motivated
- Able to adapt to new and changing responsibilities within the accounting department
- Previous Dealership experience is beneficial but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
