Sales Account Manager

**Scope of Position**:
The role is a selling, account management and customer satisfaction focused function.
In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience; while delivering expected sale revenue.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop New Distribution for Appliance Products
- Account Management
- Customer and Channel Sales Planning and Analysis
- Customer Administration and Sales Forecasting
**Specific duties**:
- Deliver sales volume targets for assigned accounts.
- Secure distribution for existing and new appliance products in line with sales objectives.
- Prospect for new appliance account and channel sales opportunities
- Establish appropriate account contacts and maintain effective relationships with key personnel
- Prepare and present high impact sales presentations by analyzing the market, evaluating sales trends and incorporating category management principals in product assortment recommendations.
- Ensure a full promotional and merchandising program is thoroughly planned, agreed to, and implemented based on customer needs and schedules
- Ensure account administration is accurate, punctual, and clearly communicated with internal departments as necessary
- Prepare monthly forecasts for all assigned accounts.
- Communicate any special customer logístical / supply chain requirements to our Operations team and assist / monitor as necessary to ensure compliance
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows and conferences as appropriate.
- Provide insight on market, channel, customer and competitive trends and activity and recommend short and long term changes to strategy as it relates to our appliance business.
**Performance Deliverables**:
- Achievement of sales budget.
- Weekly activity report and Sales Pipe Line reviews.
- Development and management of detail CRM Platform.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
- Minimum 1 year of hard goods sales experience managing national retail customers e.g. Home Depot, Lowe’s, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire and/or Commercial B2B Distributors
- Results orientated and “hands-on” self-starter with an entrepreneurial style.
- Demonstrated skills in achieving sales and budget goals
- Strong communication, both verbal and non-verbal, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Web based communication
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
