Enercare has recently introduced a hybrid working environment pilot for most office-based roles, providing the benefits of in-person connection and collaboration with increased balance and flexibility. **Role**: Project Coordinator
**Status**: Full-Time, Permanent
**Department**: Customer Operations
**Reports to**: Manager - Contact Centre Training, Process & Projects
**Location**: Birchmount Office (Markham)
The person in this role will monitor and control project progress and support the Project Manager in achieving the objectives throughout the project lifecycle. Use knowledge and experience to anticipate project requirements, take initiative in decision making and be able to pre-empt project issues while working independently from the Project Manager in relation to their assigned responsibilities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, change control, and budgets.
- Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Deliver on assigned project tasks within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assisting with the identification of project risks and maintaining the project risk register.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
**Requirements**:
- Post-Secondary education in an administrative or business-related discipline or equivalent in years of experience
- PMI Certification (CAPM or Specialist Designation) or equivalent (Asset)
- 2-3 years relevant experience in project coordination
- Experience within a call centre environment (Asset)
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail, excellent follow-up skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
