**General Summary.**

The Accounts Payable Clerk will process various types of accounts payable transactions including data entry, payment batches, wire requests, supplier setup and maintenance. The incumbent will perform general ledger month end closing processes and variance analysis.

**This position will be responsible for..**
- Perform daily reconciliation of advances on runs issued to owner operators per the operations system to advances issued per the third party issuer’s system.
- Enter invoices (including AR duplicate payments/unapplied, adjustment slips, and expense reports).
- Process Invoices, coding and submitting to Memphis for Payment
- Maintain and balance 1099 Vendor Data in the payment system.
- Audit Payments and Vendor Setup
- Ad hoc PS system requirements
- Release Weekly Escrows Held For Paperwork.
- Process and file weekly adjustment deductions
- Execute monthly Accounts Payable close.
- Code and process Outside Carriers Invoices
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education/Experience**
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processing.
- Exposure to Oracle software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Standard.
- Self Starter-quick learner, excellent attention to details and organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Strong team player.
