Accounts Payable Clerk

We currently are looking for an adaptable, motivated, dedicated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk.

**Expectations include but are not limited to**:

- Processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, and posting.
- Preparing bills, invoices and bank deposits
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Update and maintain vendor database
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Processing cheques and direct deposit runs
- Audit and verify expenses reports
- Maintain account payable files

**Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payables position.
- Familiarity with accounting system (Simply Accounting/ADP/Cortex).
- Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
