**AIM Environmental Group Inc. is searching for a key leader for the development, management and delivery of new infrastructure projects or rehabilitation of existing infrastructure in a DBO, DBOM, DBOFM and PPP format. AIM is currently a member of lead project teams that are qualified on projects in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia for the supply of large scale municipal organic waste processing and energy recovery infrastructure.**
**Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)**:
- Develop and/or coordinate with bid teams for DBO, DBOM and DBOFM projects for the processing of organic municipal waste streams.
- Being embedded in the pursuit team to assist in developing the basis for process design, internal and external process guarantees, plans, and clear and concise technical writing.
- Ability to develop, manage and forecast delivery requirements for new projects in tandem with technology supply, operational costs, and associated capital lifecycle replacement budgets.
- Work with technological partners and vendors to obtain specifications, literature and technical writing.
- Be a knowledge leader for the treatment of waste, generation of energy and biological odour treatment systems.
- Respond to RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s in an individual and team setting.
- Generate performance requirements, operating manuals and SOP’s for new projects.
- Secure targeted projects that align with managements’ goals with the provision of both competitive technology supply, operational cost modeling and leading technical knowledge in responding to process areas for the anaerobic digestion and/or aerobic composting of organic waste streams resulting in winning proposals.
- Maintain contacts with industry and technical leaders for integration of technologies to assist in securing of prequalified bid opportunities in DBO, DBOM, DBOFM and PPP Canada opportunities.
- Set a visible and positive leadership example to promote empowerment of employees through coaching, mentoring, and two-way communications.
**Education and Experience**:
**Education**:
- Professional Engineering, Masters in Environmental Sciences, or a combination of education and industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of biological and technical experience with a focus on the processing of organic solid and liquid waste streams
- Demonstration and experience in supporting and expanding existing infrastructure to implement new technologies.
- Good understanding of environmental regulations
**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
**Qualifications**:
- Speak, read, write English. German/Italian verbal skills an asset
- Superior writing and technical writing and language skills
- Oral communication skills in high level professional settings.
- Ability to work and collaborate within a team environment, problem solving, decision making, job task planning/organizing, finding information, continuous learning;
- Advanced skills to function in a Microsoft Office environment;
- A sound knowledge all legislation related to waste management plus the ability to research and stay up-to-date with new legislation.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to pay close attention to details.
**Compensation***
- RRSP Matching of base Salary up to 5%
- Standard Health Benefit
- Bonus of up to 20% of base salary; 10% performance/success based 10% financial target based.
