**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Coach and provide leadership to all the staff of the kitchen
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the Kitchen
- Train, schedule, managing kitchen staffs and coordinate food orders
- Manage and track kitchen inventory, invoices, and pricing
- Oversee and manage food and labour costs
- Supervise food prep and cooking
- Price menu items in collaboration with the General Manager
- Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed
- Train kitchen staff on prep work and food plating techniques
- Generate weekly and monthly food costing reports
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area
- Meet with sales representatives to negotiate prices or order supplies
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager to ensure consistent service excellence
- Collaborate with the Catering Manager to develop food costing to update the menu at least once a year
- **Performs other related duties as assigned by the General Manager**

**Job Requirements**
- **Required**:5 years’ experience as Executive Chef within the banquet hall industry
- **Required**:Diploma in a culinary or hospitality field or **Red Seal** certified
- **Required**:Computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
