Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic social media plan to enhance brand awareness, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website and showroom. This role requires a strong understanding of various social media platforms, content creation, analytics, and community engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals. **Manage and maintain all social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and Twitter.** Create and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts. **Collaborate with marketing and design teams to develop engaging content that aligns with brand identity.** Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging social media technologies to keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing.
Content Creation & Curation
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and shareable content, including graphics, images, videos, reels, stories, and blog posts. **Capture and edit photos/videos of flooring projects, showroom displays, and customer testimonials.** Write compelling captions and social media posts that resonate with our target audience. **Optimize content for social media channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.** Work closely with the marketing team to align social media content with advertising campaigns and promotions.
Community Engagement & Customer Interaction
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. **Foster a sense of community by initiating conversations, running contests, and encouraging user-generated content.** Monitor and manage online reputation by addressing customer feedback and reviews on social media and Google My Business. **Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and industry professionals to increase brand exposure.**
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and conversions. **Generate monthly reports to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and provide insights for improvement.** Utilize social media analytics tools (Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, etc.) to make data-driven decisions. **Adjust strategies based on performance data to optimize content and increase audience engagement.**
Advertising & Campaign Management
- Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. **Optimize ad spend to maximize ROI and improve audience targeting.** Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business Administration or a related field. **2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.** Proven track record of successfully growing and engaging social media audiences and **Experience working in the flooring, home improvement, or interior design industry is an asset.**
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices. **Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and video editing software.** Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail. **Understanding of SEO, social media algorithms, and engagement strategies.** Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to improve content strategies.** Creativity and passion for digital marketing and social media trends. **Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager and other paid advertising platforms is a plus.**
