**BRIEF OVERVIEW**

POSITION: Social Media Coordinator

STATUS: Employee, Full-Time

LOCATION: Hybrid (Vancouver, BC) - must be able to attend local content shoots

TIME COMMITMENT: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

COMPENSATION: $50,000 - $60,000 CAD/year depending on experience

START DATE: October 15, 2025

**ROLE OVERVIEW**

We are seeking a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team In this role, you’ll support client accounts by creating graphics, writing captions, editing reels, and managing communities. You’ll work closely with our Social Media Manager and CEO to make sure content is on-brand, on-time, and strategically aligned with each client’s goals.

We’re looking for a long-term team member who is excited to grow with our agency.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create social media posts (graphics, reels, captions) across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Generate trending reel ideas and edit short-form videos in Adobe Express/InShot
- Write client-aligned captions that reflect brand voice and messaging
- Monitor comments, DMs, and tagged posts for clients; respond in brand voice or escalate when needed
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on client content calendars and strategy
- Stay up-to-date on social trends, audio, and platform updates to inform content direction

**THIS ROLE IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF**
- You have 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing (agency, freelance, or in-house)
- You’re confident writing captions and adapting tone/voice
- You’re comfortable editing short-form video content and designing graphics
- You love staying on top of social media trends
- You’re highly organized and detail-oriented
- You manage your time effectively and can stay productive while working from home
- You’re personally passionate about health and wellness, and love integrating that into your lifestyle and work
- You’re proactive in meeting deadlines and communicating with your team
- You thrive in a collaborative, supportive, wellness-focused environment

**REQUIREMENTS**
- 1-2 years of communications and/or marketing experience (social media preferred)
- Strong writing and content creation skills
- Comfort with Canva + short-form video editing tools
- Reliable internet + ability to attend in-person meetings in Vancouver on occasion
- College degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, or related field is an asset, but not required
- Experience working with wellness brands is a plus
