We are currently looking for an **INVENTORY COORDINATOR**. The Inventory Coordinator position will be both an office based (85%) and hands on(15%) position. This position will be responsible for maintaining adequate supply of all materials and supplies to ensure effective operation of the production plant.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing and receiving of materials and supplies
- Data entry for internal processes such harvesting, raw moss hauling, production and KPI reporting
- Assisting in coordinating delivery of raw moss based on production and bog requirements
- Coordinate cycle counts monthly, annually and/or as required.
- Maintain a weekly and monthly inventory plan with regular reviews from management.
- Investigate any stock/receiving discrepancies, provide the root cause of the discrepancy, and implement the appropriate corrective action.
- Identify and report on recurring issues that drive inventory discrepancies and recommend and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence of the same.
- Problem solve for any missing deliveries, shipments, and documents.
- Follow current standards and procedures and develop process improvements to achieve company inventory goals.
- Logistics and Office Administrative tasks
- Other duties as required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- High school diploma
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in Material Planning/Supply Chain Management
- Proficient computer skills, along with Excel and Great Plains & Vicinity (asset but not required)
- Experience in the production industry is an asset
- Must possess strong written and communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Dependable, good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
