**What we do**

Benmet Steel is a full-service processor of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, centrally located in Guelph with satellite locations in Stratford and Owen Sound. We’re looking for an eager Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Administrator who appreciates the challenges and rewards that a small and efficient team environment provides.

**The Role**

This position will not only provide exposure and hands-on responsibilities within the administration, trading and operation teams; but you will also gain valuable insight into business operations while working in a stimulating and supportive environment.
- The focus will be on commodity supply payables and receivables
- AR and AP account reconciliations.
- Ensuring customer data is inputted timely and accurately
- Create, issue, and follow up directly on invoices to customers and vendors
- Manage account contracts to ensure correct pricing and contract fulfillment
- Fielding any customer inquiries and requests
- Reporting for management, trading and accounting
- Interacting between multiple departments as you assist the trading, operations and accounting teams

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Post-secondary degree preferred
- 2-4 years of accounting related experience within a business environment is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Highly professional, polite, and polished with a positive attitude
- Working knowledge of general office equipment
