*SUMMARY:

The position of Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of machinery to ensure all machines are in proper working order to meet production demands.
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of conventional and CNC machines.
- Work to tight deadlines where machines are down as well as supporting preventative maintenance programs in a high tolerance environment.
- Troubleshoot problems and work closely with machine suppliers and technicians to ensure production is maintained.
- Conduct regular scheduled preventive maintenance of machinery.
- Participate in Pre-Start Health and Safety Programs and work with external suppliers to ensure compliance.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience maintaining machines and repairing equipment. Previous CNC machine experience, basic robotics, PLC’s and a broad understanding of machine repair is required.
- Electro-mechanical technician certification (preferred).
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and general electrical controls.
