This position reports to the Executive Chef | Executive Sous Chef

**Job Overview**

The Chef de Partie is responsible for the preparation of high-quality meals in accordance with Peake standards of excellence. They lead a line of kitchen cooks and helpers in the day-to-day preparation and fulfillment of orders for events and deliveries. This position is part-time currently, with potential to expand going forward.

**Major Responsibilities**
- Executes and supervises food production activities for their division
- Participates in the development of food products and menus as needed
- Supports training of kitchen cooks and helpers in their division
- Maintains and monitors the quality of food produced
- Conducts inventory and orders needed products for their division
- Is aware of the content of catering manuals and suggests changes as needed

*Tasks outside of those outlined in the job description may be required during times of increased demand*

**Ongoing Expectations and Physical/Mental Demands**
- This role will require lifting of supplies, equipment, and product
- This position requires long periods of standing and moving
- Frequent interruptions from other team members while multitasking daily duties
- Immediate environment will frequently be noisy and busy
- Ongoing exposure to normal kitchen hazards (ovens, sharp objects, slippery surfaces)
- Frequent tight deadlines
