Roads and Transportation Summer Temporary Worker
4 Month Terms
April 28, 2025 up to August 29, 2025
Applications must be received no later than Friday January 31, 2025 at 11:59 p.m.
**Roads & Transportation Service Area duties may include**:
- Pavement marking
- Sign installation
- Cold patch and hot mix repairs
- Grass trimming, sod repairs
- Sidewalk and interlocking brick repairs
- Traffic island cleanup
- Bus shelter cleaning
- Other duties as assigned
**Hours of Work**:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday - 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with a 20 minute paid lunch.
**Minimum Qualification**:
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s licence with a minimum class G2.
**2024 Rate of Pay**: $17.60 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. This is a CUPE Local 35 union position.
