Pollution Control Plant - Summer Temporary Worker
4 Month Term
April 28, 2025 up to August 29, 2025

The Corporation of the City of St. Thomas hires temporary workers for the summer season to assist with the maintenance of the Pollution Control Plant.
**Pollution Control Plant duties may include**:

- Performing general clean up
- Yard maintenance
- Painting
- Other duties as assigned

**Hours of Work**:

- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. with a 20 minute paid lunch.

**Minimum Qualification**:

- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s licence with a minimum class G2.

**2024 Rate of Pay**: $17.60 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. This is a CUPE Local 35 union position.
