You will spot inefficiencies, rethink processes, and configure systems to work smarter, not harder. You will keep our People team systems running smoothly and make complex things simple. In this key role, you will: - Take charge of the continuous improvement and development of our HCM modules. - Your collaboration with People team members and other departments will be vital in ensuring that organizational needs are met effectively, driving initiatives that enhance our HCM system and overall HR processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** - Support in the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday modules including HCM, Compensation, Talent, Recruitment, Absence, and Reporting. - Manage Workday security architecture, including security group frameworks (Role/User/Job-based), domain and business process security policies, and authentication protocols. - Drive optimization of HCM capabilities through strategic process improvements, configuration, testing, end-user training, and issue resolution. - Collaborate with cross-department People teams to understand and improve business processes, providing HCM solutions that drive efficiency. - Design and maintain HCM reporting & analytics, producing custom dashboards, reports and ad-hoc analyses to support internal teams and leadership decisions. - Support integrations and implementations as an HCM SME, ensuring seamless data flow between HCM and other People technologies. - Manage data migration while adhering to data privacy and retention policies. - Performing day-to-day operational tasks, ensure smooth workflow, and promptly resolve any operational issues that may arise. - Support the maintenance of Annual Cycles and configuration in HCM; ensure the integrity and quality of data transmitted. - Maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, configuration guides, and support procedures. - Triage and resolve issues for end users and business partners. While short-term workarounds may be implemented, the focus is always on long-term, comprehensive solutions. - Manage Workday releases, lead testing, implementation, documentation, and training, while engaging HR team members throughout the process. **Required Skills & Abilities**: - Demonstrated expertise in Workday security configuration, including group assignments, domain and business process policies, and authentication protocols. - Advanced Excel experience working with large data sets utilizing advanced formulas and functionality (i.e. using pivot tables, vlookups, etc.). - Experience overseeing Workday release cycles and maintaining system governance frameworks. - Experience with full HCM project lifecycle management, from planning to change management and adoption. - Ability to communicate technical or business information to various audiences (non-technical teams: HR team, Finance/Payroll, Employees/End users, etc.) in layman’s terms. - Enthusiasm for continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to maintaining data integrity and exploring evolving HCM capabilities. - Demonstrated ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing business needs while maintaining attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Experience in knowledge sharing across Workday teams to foster development, drive collaboration, and promote best practices. - High attention to detail with a focus on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of sensitive data. - Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with a strong customer service focus and the ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Analytical and collaborative problem-solving approach with the ability to understand not just the "what" but the "why" behind requests, showcasing empathy for business needs. - Product-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and driving process efficiency in People technology. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrate commitment to teamwork. **Education, Credentials, Qualifications**: - 3+ years of functional con
