**Quality Management Specialist. **Reporting to the Sourcing Manager in this role you will ensure that off-shore Suppliers have the capacity and capability to deliver innovative, high quality Private Brand products.

**What you’ll do**:

- Establish product testing, supplier audit priorities and quality control procedures based on Category Management and Private Brand strategy priorities.
- Establish a risk matrix focused principally on off-shore-sourced products and Suppliers, designed to mitigate Home Hardware’s financial and reputation risk.
- Work with the Sourcing team and the Merchants to ensure that off-shore Suppliers deliver against the Private Brand “promise” in terms of overall performance and the end user experience. Initiates corrective action plans where required.
- Establish an effective, high quality After-Sales-Service network necessary to service the Private Brand products that HH sells and ensure that head office processes are seamlessly linked to store operations to optimize the customer after-sales experience.
- Manage a third-party quality management testing and audit firm to act on HH’s behalf for offshore production of Private Label products.
- Be a liaison with Compliance & Regulatory group to ensure compliance and up to date practices are being followed.
- Works with Merchants, Sourcing, and third-party QM firm to establish product specs for sourcing and QA purposes.
- Develop and manage reporting based on collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

**What we’re looking for**:

- College / University diploma or degree in Business, or other relevant degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance is required.
- Influence and collaborate cross functionally to ensure success in delivery and execution.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be deadline driven, work well under pressure and possess the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and make appropriate recommendations for correction.
- A strong experience in retail, sourcing, and quality management.
- Strong project management skills. Ability to develop a project plan or execute on a predetermined plan.
- Computer skills; must have strong skills and be proficient in, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
