Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and fellow employees. Ideally you have prior experience in Underground work - Excavation, Digging and Pipe Laying. You have proven communication skills with managers, employees on your team and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.

**Specific Responsibilities**: - Direct and signal heavy equipment operators
- Install and repair a variety of water and sewer lines following all safety procedures
- Safely perform manual and labour-intensive tasks as assigned - Level top surface according to grade and depth specification - Read and interpret drawings - Load and unload tools, materials and equipment - Operate industrial equipment and hand tools
- Pull permits for all jobs - Order materials for all jobs - Supervise the job site and employees on the job site

**Job Requirements**:

- 2-5 years’ experience in water main and sewer construction primarily as a Foreman or supervisor
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License, with the ability to pull trailers and drive Backhoe and/or Dump Truck to and from job site
- Excavation experience - Backhoe, Mini Excavator or Skid-Steer use, Sewer and Water contractor experience, etc.)
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- Attention to detail an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Safety certifications or willingness to obtain
