Maple Leaf Construction Ltd. is seeking a **LIGHT DUTY SHOP FOREMAN**. Duties and responsibilities include:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Communicating equipment repair status to Shop Supervisor
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards within company facilities.
- Performing maintenance on company equipment, as required.
- Organizing the team of light duty shop technicians to work together in completing equipment repairs in a timely manner (people, equipment, materials) with a manageable workload.
- Acting as the point of escalation between direct and indirect reports, as necessary.
- Occasionally dealing with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Directing technicians when carrying out inspections, repairs, replacements,

rectifications, etc., to ensure manpower is utilized efficiently.
- Preparing equipment repair quotes and forwarding to supervisors for approval.
- Creating, updating, and finishing equipment work orders in Spectrum maintenance tracking system.
- Ensuring parts and tooling are available for specific jobs and collaborating with parts purchasers, as necessary.
- Assisting with and supporting all MLC policies and procedures.
- May be delegated to carry out functions of other shop foreman in their absence.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Extensive mechanical and technical experience related to equipment maintenance.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience managing people and projects in a fast-paced environment, an asset.
