**The Position: Program Assistant**

Are you an organizational wizard with a passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors? As a Program Assistant with our Seniors Social Supports department, you'll support the delivery of programs for isolated seniors, manage client and volunteer inquiries, and participate in team meetings. You'll help develop and improve programs, maintain databases, conduct research, and identify trends.

Volunteer engagement is key. You'll recruit, train, and support volunteers, ensuring they are satisfied and involved. You'll also assist with storytelling and impact capturing, communicating the value of our programs to stakeholders.

**Key Accountabilities and Deliverables**

Program Support:

- Support the delivery of programs for isolated seniors, including registering clients and coordinating program activities.
- Ensure programs are executed efficiently and meet the needs of seniors.

Volunteer Engagement:

- Support volunteer recruitment, training, and retention.
- Coordinate volunteer activities and ensure volunteers are supported and engaged.
- Develop strategies to enhance volunteer satisfaction and involvement.

Client and Volunteer Inquiries:

- Provide accurate information and resolve issues promptly.

Critical Thinking:

- Analyze problems and propose effective solutions.

Team Participation:

- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve program goals.

Program Development:

- Support the ongoing growth and development of programs through process review and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Database Management:

- Maintain and manage program databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Support other data recording initiatives as needed.

Research and Evaluation:

- Conduct research to inform program development and implementation.
- Implement evaluation tools to assess program effectiveness and impact.
