Bedford, Canada Bird & Associates Psychological Services Inc Full time

Bird & Associates Psychological Services is a growing practice in Bedford, NS who is seeking a full time Clinic Administrator to join our team. The vision at our practice is to provide a safe, inclusive, collaborative, and supportive environment to our clients, Associates, students, and practice administrator.

Our clinic currently consists of 6 full time and 2 part time Psychologists during the fall. As well as in the winter months, we often have a practicum student.

As the first point of contact, a Clinic Administrator plays a very important role by creating a professional space to access mental health services.

**Further responsibilities include**:
Schedule clients either for online or in person sessions

Assist clients with filling out intake forms, consent forms, and insure that the

practices policy/protocols are followed regarding billing and direct billing.

Collect payment at time of service and/or bill insurance companies on behalf of the client.

Provide bi-weekly reports to Associates for paid and open invoices.

Assure that clinic is open during regular scheduled office hours.

Complete light cleaning duties such as emptying the garbage and leaving outside in the hall or take down cardboard to the bin outside.

Communicate and ensure that all Associates and yourself adheres to the Practices Policy’s and Procedures. By working alongside of the practice owner, to help create and update the practices policies and procedures as they continue to evolve.

Complete marketing services such as posting to website or maintaining social media as per directed by the Clinic Owner.

Participate in team meetings, contribute by making suggestions regarding how the practice is structured and have a desire to join a collaborative team.

Knowledge of **Jane scheduling system, Telus and BlueCross direct billing and Quickbooks **would be an assist.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
