**Job Summary**

Joining our leadership team and our crisis team to respond to the complex needs of women survivors who have experienced gender-based violence, including becoming the central support for survivors who have experienced or have been impacted by sexual violence.

**Primary Roles and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Practice and other crisis team members to deliver violence prevention and intervention essential services to survivors of gender-based violence.
- Oversee and ensure quality control of BWSS Intake and crisis line.
- Oversee direct services quality control to ensure that all survivors who call our intake and crisis are provided with support, safety assessment, lethality assessment and safety planning.
- Lead and facilitate the monthly crisis team meetings and attend all required team meetings (e.g., staff meetings, individual supervision, case consultations, and training)
- Collate and submit monthly and yearly reports to Funders, including statistical information on program activities.
- Engage in research and gap analysis to support the development of direct services, enhanced service options, best practices, and service coordination protocols.
- Provide indirect supervision of team members and/or volunteers within the area through work direction, guidance and monitoring.
- Liaise directly with community partners and team leaders around service coordination.
- Conduct yearly performance appraisals.
- Participate, as appropriate, in interagency and government meetings.
- Assist survivors of gender-based violence with safety assessment, lethality assessment, safety planning, hospital and police accompaniment, and navigating available services both within the organization and to other collateral agencies.
- Oversee the daily direct service provided by the Intake and Crisis Line Coordinator, the Community-Based Victim Services Support Workers and a diverse team of crisis volunteers.
- Schedule, supervise, interview, and select community-based victim services support workers.
- Oversee the operation of intake and crisis line services and crisis volunteers’ activities.
- Coordinate and support a robust team of community-based victim services support workers.
- Foster and maintain strategic relationships and partnership opportunities.
- Track and monitor program activity data, analyze variances and report findings to the Director of Clinical Practice; ensure required reports are completed and submitted on time.
- Participate in funding proposals for new funding.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
- Assist the Director of Clinical Practice and Direct Service in policy development for the BWSS program.
- Develop and deliver training sessions within the organization.
- Assist with developing reporting and record-keeping systems for BWSS programs.
- Prepares reports and statistics on crisis line operation and use.
- In charge of record keeping and service delivery obligations of the Provincial Government Community-based Victim Service Program contracts, in keeping with all legal and contractual obligations undertaken by the Society. Such administrative duties will include program statistics and program report writing.
- Act as a resource person for the community and BWSS staff.
- Assist with organizing and presenting direct service related to educational, training and prevention programs in communities.
- Participate in public education, speaking engagements, and relevant community committees on violence against women.
- Facilitate communication with other feminist organizations concerned with violence against women and anti-oppression.
- In conjunction with the Leadership Team consisting of the Director of Clinical Practice and Direct Service, Manager of Direct Services and Programs, Manager of Employment Program (AWARE), Manager of Development and Social Enterprise, Manager of Development, Manager of Finance, Manager of Research, Executive Director and Board of Directors, work to develop strong links and good public relations with community agencies.
- Maintain current information about the policies and procedures of relevant community agencies.

- Post-secondary diploma (2-3 years) in a relevant or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Experience using a feminist, anti-oppression, intersectional, decolonizing approach in providing direct services to women survivors of sexualized violenc
