Creative Vision Optical is looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time, Permanent Administrative Assistant for the Caledonia office.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Organizing and scheduling appointments
- Data entry and filing; creating and managing patient files
- Managing invoicing and payment, including direct billing to major insurance carriers
- Working closely with Indigenous Affairs, Ontario Health Insurance Plan, Ontario Disability Support Program and Ontario Works to oversee and process coverage for patients
- Office cleaning
**Qualifications**:
- A strong desire to work with and help people
- Ability to deal with delicate and personal information in a confidential manner
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure patient satisfaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality and performance required
- Previous experience in administrative roles preferred
