**Purpose**:
This position will work closely with the Assistant Dean, Strategic Enrolment Management and Science Engagement Programs regarding the planning, development and implementation of strategies for undergraduate recruitment, conversion, and marketing. The incumbent will serve as the primary contact for prospective science students, promote the faculty and enhance its profile to current prospective students, their families, secondary schools and other stakeholders using traditional and digital recruiting, conversion and marketing techniques. Must represent the Faculty of Science in a positive light.

**Education**:
University degree in a related discipline or an equivalent of 4 years' recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the relevant work experience listed below.

**Experience**:
Two years of progressive work experience in any or a combination of higher educational recruitment or liaison. digital marketing. event management. relationship-based, long-cycle or hospitality sales. public relations.

**Skills**:
Knowledge of Ontario university system admissions criteria, university programs, and strong familiarity with Canadian educational systems.
Superior presentation skills with experience delivering presentations to small and large groups.
Superior event management skills.
Strong experience in digital marketing and comfort in creating content for traditional and digital marketing channels. Excellent writer.
Very strong time management and organizational skills. Demonstrated strong worth ethic.
Absolutely must have demonstrated customer service ethic and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to use tact and diplomacy and discretion when dealing with others and a demonstrated comfort and effectiveness in dealing with a diverse body of prospective students and their influencers.
Demonstrated ability to manage many projects at once and collaborate with many different people and personalities.
Goal oriented with a bias for urgent action. Demonstrated ability to effectively complete projects and achieve defined goals within definite timeframes.
Ability to absorb and communicate a large amount of detailed and complex information, rules, and policies. Demonstrated history of exercising good judgment in analyzing and evaluating situations/circumstances and solving problems.

**Additional Notes**:
Willingness to travel to locations in the Greater Toronto Area is a requirement of this position.
