**Role Overview**:
The Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role overseeing all aspects of the clinical operations. This role involves end to end team management, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, maintaining platinum level patient care and coordinating retail and clinical to present as one unified experience.
The Clinical Coordinator will execute patient care activities, implement policies and procedures, drive satisfaction issues to closure, oversee referrals, third party and OHIP billing. Strong leadership skills and medical experience are essential for success in this position.
**About the Role**:
You will work closely with the store partners, store manager, associate optometrists, opticians and eye care consultants to achieve the store objectives and build patient / customer loyalty.
In this role you will be contributing your knowledge and experience throughout the customer journey while providing feedback to strengthen the team and maintain standards. Our goal is to ensure the delivery of the best service and products that our customers have ever seen.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage the referral system; ensure each piece of communication to and from OMD is attached to patient files.
- Optometry Schedule, vacations, posted 3 months ahead.
- Schedule Management, No-Shows, Cancelations; monitor for anomalies and unintended changes for each OD schedule.
- Follow-ups and recalls.
- Weekly meeting with Optometry Partner.
- Weekly meeting with Store Manager.
- Be able to perform, when required, all frontline clinical duties such as pre and post testing.
- Open and closing procedures for clinical.
- Training new hires and continue to support and develop the team in all clinical areas.
- Third party billing and all related portals including SAV and OHIP.
- Support frontline team or other managers as needed or when asked.
- Keep up to date with Green Point saturation, tasks, promotions, contests.
- Participate in lease lining, outreach and volunteer initiatives.
- Always being a brand ambassador for Specsavers, while championing the behaviours and values which Specsavers stands for.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
