Legal Assistant/admin

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Draft and prepare legal documents, briefs, and correspondence.
- Perform clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Conduct client and witness interviews to gather case information.
- Answer calls professionally, take messages, and direct inquiries.
- Manage deadlines, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Maintain an organized workspace to support team productivity.
**Skills**
- Strong clerical skills with excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Clear and concise legal drafting abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective project and time management.
- Proficient in accurate and confidential data entry.
- Professional phone etiquette and client communication skills in English.
- Strong legal research skills, gained through prior experience or during a paralegal or law clerk program are an asset; experience in handling family law, civil litigation and Federal Court immigration matters is an asset.
