Pacific Northwest Transportation Services (PNWTS) is the proud supplier of carbon neutral transportation services for the cruise industry in Victoria, British Columbia. As the exclusive supplier of buses on behalf of the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA), PNWTS provides motor coaches and double decker buses for shore excursion tours and shuttle connections for cruise lines and is the sole provider of dispatch services on the Terminal. We are looking for a positive and energetic individual to join our dispatch team.

**Wage: $24.49/h training / $27.50/h regular**

**Full time (Seasonal): Approximately 30 hours/week**

Coordinate daily tour and shuttle activities to ensure company standards and allotted time frames are being achieved.

**Your Work Will Include**
- Assign and schedule work to drivers through our Proxy System
- Maintain an accurate record of assigned driving activities on our dispatch board
- Assist drivers with any pertinent information related to their assignment
- Maintain constant flow of communication to Pier side team and drivers regarding assignments
- Monitor computer and track vehicles through GPS system
- Monitor drivers to ensure tours and shuttle services are running on time
- Communicate with tour operators regarding their coach requirements for each ship
- Assist Pier side team in keeping track of maintenance issues
- Ensure drivers are filling out their daily logs and check over for accuracy
- Effectively manage incidents & breakdowns to ensure safety and that the guest experience is mínimally impacted

- Ability to work a variety of shifts, with adaptable scheduling
- Demonstrate excellent communication and observational skills
- High level of attention to detail

- Work effectively in a team environment
- Previous dispatching experience (preferred)
- Previous customer service experience (preferred)

**Salary**: $27.50 per hour
