**NATURE OF THE WORK**
The Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality programs and services within their assigned program portfolio by coordinating the day-to-day operations of those programs, including service delivery, program support, staff development and quality assurance. With a focus on client-centered care and continuous improvement, the Program Coordinator provides support, training, coaching and supervision to staff, and works collaboratively with external partners to meet the needs of program participants and advance the mission of the EORC.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide direct support, training, and guidance to program staff to ensure effective service delivery and client support.
- Evaluate the performance of individual staff members, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues or concerns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of program policies.
- Support the Program Manager in the creation and development of program goals and objectives as well as with program evaluation.
- Provide service delivery to clients as required (high volume, team members absent due to external meetings, staff illness, etc.).
- Respond to client inquiries, concerns, and emergencies in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Handle client complaints to ensure that all quality measures are being followed and escalate to Program Manager as needed.
- Collaborate with community partners, agencies, and stakeholders involved in client care to enhance service delivery and expand resources for program participants.
- Identify community service gaps and service delivery issues and collaborate with the Program Manager to address.
- Analyze program outcomes and client feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor program budgets, expenses, and resources with support from Program Manager to ensure efficient utilization and compliance with funding requirements.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling and staff cover off, processing time sheets and leave requests.
**WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO FIND IN YOU**
- University degree or community college diploma in social work or a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years’ experience in social services and Resource and Referral and Child and Youth services.
- Experience in program development, delivery, and evaluation.
- Fluency in oral and written communication skills in English and French. **French language skill is mandatory.**
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Highly adaptable: ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
- Knowledge of, and familiarity with the continuum of care including community social and health services and the resources available in the community
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks effectively and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to work in an agile, dynamic, rapid-changing environment by prioritizing situations which require a sense of urgency.
