**Summary**
The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, a unique boutique style property, is seeking for Front Desk Supervisor who will serve as an ambassador for the Hotel and assist in leading our Front Office Team. The individual must be a multi-functional individual who is driven to always exceed our residents & guests’ expectations, as well as motivate and lead their team.
**Specific Duties and/or Job Responsibilities**
- Assist the Guest Services Management team in ensuring the smooth and efficient overall day-to-day operations of the Front Desk.
- Provide courteous, prompt, professional and attentive guest service up to 5 Diamond Standards **at all times** whilst on the desk.
- Ensure department adherence to company policies, procedures and standards to ensure that guest expectations are exceeded.
- Assist in providing staff with ongoing coaching, training and development.
- Coordinate hotel emergency procedures within the scope of the defined plans.
- Prepare reports, handle special projects and assignments as required.
- Promote the property in your interactions and possess a sound knowledge of the surrounding area and activities.
- Maintain a good working relationship and communication amongst all colleagues and departments.
- Addressing and resolving guest concerns in a timely manner escalating issues to the Manager on Duty when you are unable to do so.
- Complete other duties in an expedient fashion as assigned by the Guest Services Management team.
- Other Duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**
- Self motivated, responsible, organized and task oriented.
- Fluent in English. Proficiency of a second language would be an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work flexible hours when called upon to do so.
- Must be able to stand or sit for an 8 hour shift.
- Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
- Must have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
**Education & Experience**
- 2-3 years working in a hotel front office.
- 1+ years working as a supervisor/manager
- Extensive experience with a hotel property management system, preferably Opera PMS.
- Occupation First Aid Level 1 preferred but not required.
- College education in hospitality is preferred.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.52-$31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
