Recent new research funds from a Canada Research Chair position and Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) grants have become available for a post-doctoral position at McMaster University in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact (HEI, formerly Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics), to **lead perinatal meta-analyses including advanced techniques in meta-analysis and network meta-analysis** to improve the health of women and infants.

We seek highly motivated applicants having a Ph.D. in (Bio)Statistics, Clinical Epidemiology, or a very closely-related field, who are enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Experience in research in medicine, particularly in obstetrics or neonatology is an asset.

Opportunities include collaborations with teams in other departments, centres, provinces and internationally, and gaining experience writing research grants and supervising students. The position is tailored to the applicant’s career goals.
