Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and shipping materials, coordinating logistics, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory and ensure accuracy of all incoming and outgoing materials
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials to job sites
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist with ordering and purchasing of materials as needed
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Train and supervise warehouse staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
