**Position title**: Logistics and Warehouse Coordinator
**Reporting to**:Logistics and Warehouse Supervisor

**Type of position**:Fulltime, permanent

**Location**: Markham, ON

**Summary of Business**:
***Located in Markham, Ontario, the top priorities of this position The logistics and warehouse coordinator will be responsible for:

- All activities related to logístical and warehousing of incoming/outgoing of raw material, piece parts, subassemblies, finished goods and other supplies as needed
- Warehouse related activities including receiving, dispatching, as well as storing materials and managing inventory accuracy
- Logistics arrangement, tracking, as well as customs related paperwork and documents (FTA documents) as needed

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Carry out all daily shipping activities, including but not limited to, shipments to vendors, transfers between warehouses and customer orders shipments, while ensuring shipment accuracy and desired shipment method have been utilized
- Ensure all shipment paperwork is within standards and accurate, all relevant documents are included with the shipment to avoid delays and additional charges
- Troubleshoot shipment discrepancies when required and expediting urgent shipments as needed by internal teams
- Receives and stocks materials and products from suppliers, reconciles purchase orders with receiving documents
- Coordinate with the quality team on materials received from vendor, ensuring receiving report accurately reflects what has been received into the ERP system
- Move materials and products around warehouse/stockroom, operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine cycle count to ensure accurate inventories for all items in the warehouse, while maintaining cleanliness and 5S
- Process freight invoices, ensuring correct GLs are accounted for each shipment, coordinate with Accounting Department with regards to payment approvals
- Working with freight carrier and custom broker, ensuring shipments with eligible duty drawbacks are processed in a timely manner, by preparing and providing custom documents needed
- Working with the internal team and carrier services, monitor freight rates on a continual basis in efforts to reduce freight costs
- Other departmental duties as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
- Post-secondary education (Diploma or Degree preferred)
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed
- Be very detail oriented

**Desired**:

- Enrolled or Completed CSCB- certified customs specialist program
- Good comprehension of regulatory laws governing import/export is an asset
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment. Certification to operate a forklift
