The Opportunity:
**Company, Department**: Nova Scotia Power, Talent Acquisition

**Location**: Halifax, Nova Scotia - Hybrid

**Closing Date**: October 30, 2024

**What you’ll do**:
We’ll treat you as one of our own and your key areas of responsibility will include**:

- Conduct background checks.
- Submit requests for pre-employment testing and assessments.
- Update requisitions in iCIMS on a daily basis and throughout recruitments.
- Other recruitment-related projects as required.

**Who you are**:
Working as a valued part of our Talent Acquisition team, you will bring:

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education studying Human Resources or Business and eligible for a winter 2025 Co-op Term.
- Experience in using SharePoint and applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS, considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a recruitment environment considered an asset.
- Results oriented and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive in nature with high level of energy.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
- Experience with MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
