**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the IT Technical Architect, the IT Summer Co-Op will be responsible for participating in several technology enhancements to help continuously improve the IT landscape. This role will be exposed to authentication systems, laptops, desktops, networking, infrastructure, Office 365 and some information security systems.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of IT enhancements and improvements
- Participation in some IT related projects
- Assisting employees with support of technical related issues
- Remediating some security gaps
- Analyzing security data, logs, and other artifacts

**Qualifications**:

- Co-Op Student enrolled in Information Technology, Computer Science or related degrees and diplomas
- Excellent people skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams to gather information and solve problems
- Passionate about the industry and looking to further their experience and skills in Information Technology
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Critical thinker, and a team player
- Ability to gather, analyze and interpret various data
- Good computer skills

**High Liner Foods is Remote Friendly** We offer a Flexible Hybrid Work Model where corporate office employees have the flexibility to choose a minimum of two office days per week, with the option to work wherever they prefer (office or remote) for the remainder of the week.
