Muwin Estate / Bulwark Craft Ciders is currently seeking experienced, enthusiastic, hardworking and creative individuals for Bartender and Retail Cashier for the Taproom in Halifax, Bulwark Cider House & Café.

This role is a part-time hourly position. Reports to the Bulwark Cider House Manager.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- On floor duties at the bar and retail counter as required
- Assist with daily operations of the taproom and retail store
- On floor duties at the kitchen as required including prepping, cutting, among other duties.
- Providing strong Customer Service to our guests
- Participate in staff education exercises (cider tastings, barista training, new drink offers)
- Handling cash and payments in retail store and taproom
- Completing Shift Cash Outs - provided to Cider House Manager or Bar Manager
- Potential to contribute to the taproom social media channels
- Working knowledge of Bulwark’s products, upcoming releases and production
- Assisting Manager as required

**Key Requirements**:

- Passion for all things Craft with a focus on customer service
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a bar/taproom environment
- History of building strong relationships with customer base
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of FIFO, inventory and customer service.
- Ability to work alone independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work days, evenings and weekends
- Flexible abilities in hospitality, service, bar, kitchen and retail environment an asset
- Willing to learn and thrive in any environment or situation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $14.50 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Weekend availability

- French not required

Ability to commute/relocate:
