Cambridge, Canada Pickle Barrel Restaurant Full time

The Pickle Barrel began with a mission. We believed that amazing dining experiences

didn’t need to be elitist, so we began a restaurant that combined ‘quality’ with ‘incredible

value’. Today we have restaurants across the Greater Toronto, our menu has 300

items and we have over 1,000 employees.

We are looking for **a Host/Hostess **who is passionate about people and experts in providing the

Perfect Guest Experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greets guests with friendly and enthusiastic smile
- Prepares dining room for guests by cleaning tables and setting with napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Maintains menu presentation by keeping menus clean and replacing any damaged or soiled pages
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; being alert to guest spills or other special needs.
- Ensures that entrance maintains clean and presentable to incoming guests
- Updates job knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Energetic, personable, and confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Able to work flexible shifts
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a host/hostess in a similar environment an asset
