**Shift Hours**: Monday to Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm
SUMMARY
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Seek new business opportunities by following up on leads, engaging existing customers, and addressing their inquiries and service needs.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and a range of solutions tailored to Erb Group's operations.
- Assist in growing and developing new business relationships and monitoring competitive activities.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve client service issues, including credit, paperwork, and operational concerns.
- Collaborate with the pricing team on yearly rate renewals and new rate inquiries, providing accurate quotes to customers.
- Promote Erb Group’s services and identify new business ventures to increase market share and meet financial targets.
- Maintain high-quality client relationships, focusing on satisfaction and service excellence.
- Customize transportation solutions based on client requirements, including full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), dedicated routes, and cross-border logistics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive activities to drive product and service improvements.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, client feedback, and revenue targets to enhance service offerings.
- Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring clarity on services, timelines, and expectations.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, addressing complaints and service issues promptly to maintain strong relationships.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support client success and company growth.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in a customer service-focused field, Sales, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
- In-depth understanding of transportation solutions, including FTL, LTL, and cross-border logistics.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Strong analytical abilities for data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented.
- Dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving challenges efficiently under pressure.
- Driven to meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals.
