**Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Reception and Registration**: Greet and register patients, accurately entering their information into the patient management system.
- **Telephone Management**: Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- **Scheduling**: Manage and coordinate appointment schedules for healthcare providers and patients.
- **Customer Service**: Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring professional and friendly interactions with all patients.
- **Administrative Support**: Handle office documentation, manage correspondence, and perform general administrative tasks.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve patient concerns efficiently and courteously.
- **Maintaining Reception Area**: Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma required; additional education in administration or the medical field is a plus.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a receptionist role, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with patient management software (e.g., EMR systems).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor.
