Copywriter & Content Marketing Associate - Nasdaq

Nasdaq seeks an experienced and creative storyteller to serve as the in-house Copywriter for its Corporate Platforms portfolio, inclusive of Governance, ESG, and Investor Relations. The Copywriter will be responsible for writing content that channels Nasdaq’s brand voice and elevates Corporate Platforms’ expertise and suite of solutions.
The Copywriter reports to the Content Marketing Manager and will collaborate with the Corporate Platforms portfolio marketing team, across Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, Client Communications, and Events & Partnerships functions. In addition, the Copywriter will work closely with Corporate Platforms business leaders and product evangelists to convert their insights and software knowledge into content that showcases Nasdaq’s corporate governance, ESG, and IR expertise.
**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as lead copywriter for Corporate Platforms long-form, short-form, and digital assets
- Manage editorial calendar across Corporate Platforms to help prioritize copywriting requests from the business and marketing team
- Oversee editorial process, including ideation, research, writing, fact-checking, and producing
- Identify and develop new storylines that educate and inform, generate demand, inspire meaningful conversation with the Corporate Platforms audiences
- Translate complex and niche topics into compelling stories and adjust style and approach to a variety of formats, verticals, platforms, and audiences
- Leverage internal and external data sources to quickly react to trends and cultural moments
- Monitor competitor landscape and audience opportunities and challenges to identify actionable content
- Collaborate with team to customize messaging in alignment with marketing campaigns
- Partner with digital marketing team to ensure copy is optimized for search
- Grow familiar with Corporate Platforms’ suite of Governance, ESG, and Investor relations solutions and target personas
- Partner with Nasdaq’s Brand Content and Legal teams to ensure asset deliverables follow brand style and compliance guidelines
Competencies:
- 3+ years of copywriting and editing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills and understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives
- Strong writing and editing skills in English required (in English and French preferred)
- Solid command of grammar rules and attention to detail
- Executive presence and confidence to execute projects with senior and executive stakeholders
- Ability to take complex concepts and make them understandable across regions and buyer personas
- Ability to handle multiple content projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
