We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join Retail Team as our **English - French Translator. **This role would be ideally based in Montreal with the opportunity to be fully remote from home.

**THE DETAILS**:
**You'll be joining our Retail team in Montreal, in a full-time capacity**
- You'll work with Retail Management and partner with various departments in the organization including Marketing and Human Resources on translating various projects and assignments as required from English to French or vice versa.
- You'll provide sound advice to management on how to effectively manage and interpret translated material.
- You'll identify and resolve any conflicts related to the meanings of words, phrases or concepts when translating between languages.
- You'll proofread, revise, and edit final translated versions; ensuring that technical terms and terminology remain consistent throughout the translation.
- You'll compile terminology and information about the content and context of information to be translated, including technical terms such as legal material.
- You'll use appropriate software for presentation and delivery.
- You'll follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information.
- Other duties as assigned.

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in French-English Translation or an equivalent study is required.
- Minimum of 2(two) years of experience in English - French Translation.
- ATIO and/or CTTIC certification is required.
- Complete knowledge of the English and French languages with the ability to write appropriately/professionally in each.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Attentive of different knowledge-providing sources like dictionaries, thesaurus' encyclopedias and how to utilize them.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with a group of people cohesively, towards a common goal.
