- 2 years of Restaurant Experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager experience.
- Reliable transportation and drivers license.
- Food Handler Certification.
- Standard First Aid Training.
- Working knowledge of Ontario legislation and current local labour laws.
- Open availability (can work a variety of shifts including open, close and weekend shifts).
- Has a proven ability to develop others and is dedicated to personal growth.
- Well organized, meets deadlines and sets clear expectations.
- Profit oriented, able to grow sales through guest experience by executing the operating system to standard.

**Responsibilities and Skills**:

- Possess strong management, leadership and communication skills

- Mediates staff disputes and manages problem performance
- Trains new employees
- Strong time management, delegation and communication skills

Business Foundations
- Manages restaurant profitability through food, labour and cash management
- Efficiently manage cash floats and bank deposits
- Ability to compile and understand restaurant financial data and reports

Operations Excellence
- Creates a restaurant culture that prioritizes the guest experience
- Upholds A&W Operating Standards and Food Safety Standards in the restaurant
- Use assessment tools to improve execution of standards
- Prepares for and executes successful promotions
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

**Position will require**:

- Standing for long periods of time (9 hours)
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
- Working in a hot environment
- Safety shoes and uniform
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong time management skills
- Multi-tasking
- Delegation and Team Work Skills
