Join DMC as our Health & Safety Coordinator and lead the programs that protect our people every day. You will champion a proactive safety culture across machining, welding, hydraulic repair, and field service—turning standards into simple, effective habits on every shift.

**Your Impact**
You will design, implement, and continuously improve a practical safety management system that meets Manitoba legislation and industry best practice. You will deliver focused training, conduct inspections and audits, lead incident investigations with root-cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions that stick. You will maintain accurate, regulator-ready documentation and partner with managers and frontline teams to resolve concerns and lift overall performance.

**Our Safety Platform & Partners (1Life + Made Safe)**
DMC uses the **1Life** safety management app for inspections, hazard reporting, training records, incident reporting, CAPA tracking, and dashboards. You will own adoption and continual improvement of 1Life—building digital checklists, forms, and workflows that make safe work the easy choice. We also work closely with **Made Safe - Manufacturing Safety for Manitoba**, using their guidance, tools, and training to align our programs with leading manufacturing standards.

**What You Bring**
You have proven experience in occupational health and safety in an industrial or manufacturing setting, strong knowledge of Manitoba OHS legislation, and the ability to coach, influence, and follow through. You communicate clearly at every level, manage priorities independently, and are relentless about continuous improvement. **Experience with Made Safe - Manufacturing Safety for Manitoba is required.** Familiarity with safety designations or accreditations (e.g., CRSP, CHSC, NCSO, or equivalent) is an asset. Experience administering a safety platform—ideally **1Life**—is strongly preferred.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
