Vivo Cura Healthcare is a multidisciplinary MSK pain management clinic focused on treating patients with muscle and joint pain. We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant - Booking Team Lead for our Central Calgary location who shares this philosophy and can grow with us and will be responsible for overseeing the booking and various administrative processes and team members that are integral to delivering organized patient care.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Training, supervising and managing the booking and administrative support team to ensure clinic protocols are adhered to and maintain excellent customer service standards
- Auditing future appointment bookings to ensure the accuracy.
- Addressing and resolving patient complaints or issues between team members and escalating concerns to management when needed.
- Answering phone calls and interact with patients as their first and ongoing point of contact
- Scheduling appointments
- Liaising with other care providers regarding referred patients
- Updating electronic medical record system with appropriate information as needed
- Ensuring patient records and files are accurate and current
- Delivering impeccable customer service to patients, clinic staff and referring physicians
- Maintaining and respect patient confidentiality at all times
- Adhere to Vivo Cura Health policies, procedures and protocols
- Various other clerical administrative duties as required

**Education and Experience**
- Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program, and/or
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Office experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience with leadership/management experience preferred
- Software literacy: experience utilizing EMR and other healthcare related software, preference given to those with experience using Accuro

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
