We are excited to welcome a **Medical Office Assistant (MOA)** to our wonderful medical family Our two family-practice-based clinics—**Mahogany Medical Clinic** and **The Village Medical**—are located in the heart of beautiful Mahogany, SE Calgary. We proudly specialize in **Family Practice** and **Women’s Health**.

As an MOA, you will play a vital role in both front-office administration and clinical support, helping us deliver exceptional care to our patients every day.

**Position Details**
- **Casual/Part time** - 15-25 hours, possibly more (some evening shifts may be required)
- Work in a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for
- Coordinate patient flow and manage EMR records (Telus Med Access required, AVA preferred)
- Room patients and take vital signs as needed
- Prepare examination rooms and requisitions for physicians
- Assist with procedures and chaperone when required
- Clean and sterilize equipment following best-practice guidelines
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients and all members of the healthcare team
- Non-insured payments
- Participate in monthly meetings

**What We’re Looking For**
- Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program (or equivalent)
- 1+ year experience preferred
- Strong computer skills (Apple Mac proficient, 60+ wpm typing)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor (scrubs required)
- Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Customer service or retail experience an asset
