We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process. Your attention to detail and ability to accurately process invoices and payments will contribute to the smooth operation of our financial systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process invoices and match them with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all payment requests
- Review and reconcile vendor statements
- Prepare and process weekly check runs
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end closing activities as needed

**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
