POSITION REPORTING: Reports to Director of Residential Programs Crisis Shelter & Residence
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Working as part of a collaborative team, they will:
- Coordinating master schedule, filling shifts as needed
- Maintain and track monthly stats
- Administrate, support and provide direction to Shelter Staff with HIFIS (Homeless Individuals and Families Information System), and enter client Data in HIFIS as required. - Perform general office duties such as: Data entry
- Maintaining confidential records
- Training new staff as needed with HIFIS and Scheduling
- Coordinate staff meetings and agendas
- Maintain and operate office equipment
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Communicating building maintenance issues
- Provide support to the Director of Programs, Shelter Management, CS&R staff as needed
- Provide communication within the departments of the YWCA as a whole
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2 year of previous experience in administration assistant role
- Diploma or Certificate in related field
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft excel office
- Experience with scheduling and stat tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with confidential issues in a professional manner
- Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Clearance check
WAGE: $16.21 per hour (Step 1 Wage Grid) This is an in-scope position.
