**Location**:Brantford, ON

**Shift**:Afternoon

**Position Summary**:
The Breadline Lead Hand guides and directs Breadline General Labour while emphasizing safety, teamwork, and efficient operations.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

- Monitor attendance of full-time, part-time and temp. agency workers.
- Day to day coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Operating forklift, reach truck and power walkies to retrieve corrugate for packing.
- Maintaining quality control while following all health and safety guidelines.
- Supporting and guiding Breadline General Labour on the flow of goods.
- Positively support performance, teamwork and safety.
- Work alongside the administrative team to ensure orders have the correct information and documentation.

**Required Skills/Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably with team lead responsibilities.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Must be reliable, results-oriented, have good organization skills and be attentive to details.
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequently stand, walk and bend.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of a Warehouse Management System is an asset.

**Academic/Education Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Additional Certifications and/or Designations are an asset.

**Work Environment**:

- Frequently exposed to cold conditions. The Breadline cooler is 2°C. the freezer where product is stored is -18°C.

Confederation Freezers provides customized temperature-controlled warehousing, dedicated warehouse leasing, and fully integrated value-added services, including Third-Party Logistics (3PL), Fourth-Party Logistics (4PL), Transportation, Pick-and-Pack, Reinspection, and Cross-Docking to meet the diversified needs of our customers.

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
