As a Foreman or Lead Hand at Major Refrigeration, you will lead a team of skilled mechanical tradespersons, ensuring that each repair, maintenance, installation, and construction project meets the highest standards of customer service and workmanship. Your role involves coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of excellence, safety and collaboration across the team.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Lead Technical Resource on assigned projects
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with peers, customers, General Contractors and subcontractors
- Create reports on job status’ and performance
- Ensure all employees are working safely and following company policies and procedures (eg. personal protective equipment (PPE) and vehicle safety)
- Ensure compliance of installation policies and procedures (eg. project tracking, health and safety and time and attendance)
- Oversee 3rd party resources, as required
- Organize tasks for crew of 3-5 peers
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- 313A Mechanic or Registered 4th or 5th term Apprentice (Refrigeration and HVAC Technician)
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or other related industry/trade
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours
- Making good judgment in work assignments
- Proficient in providing clear and concise direction
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
- Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certification, required
- Ability to stand, crouch, kneel and climb ladders
- Valid G driver’s licence with a clean record
